Areas of Specialism
Integrative Therapy- a combination of the application of:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT
Person Centred Therapy (PCT)
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
I use an integrative approach to therapy that tailors uniquely to the individual needs, circumstances, and goals.
I work according to BACP code of ethics and practice, which ensures that I offer all my clients a safe and confidential space, where there are respect and acceptance and a sensitive and gentle encouragement in exploring your problems to help develop new ways of coping and if possible, solving.
You can talk about anything in counselling and below is an example of some of the issues covered with clients’.
Self-esteem and low self-confidence
Divorce and separation
Abuse and trauma
Loneliness and distress
Loss of meaning
Whatever your problem may be, past or present, whatever that is affecting your life simple or complex, such as simply feeling sick or disturbing past experiences which may be stopping you from moving forward. I draw on many different counselling techniques in order to find a way forward.
Together, I hope we can develop new ways of coping with what you are experiencing.
I work on either a short-term or long-term basis depending on individual needs.
